‘I am not hiding’: Ukraine’s President Zelensky delivers defiant message from his office in Kyiv

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky insisted he is “not afraid of anyone” as he recorded a new video from his office in the capital for the first time.

“I stay here, in Kyiv, on Bankova, not hiding. And I will stay as long as it takes to win our patriotic war,” Mr Zelensky said in the video filmed late on Monday night and shared on his Facebook page.

At the start of the video he shows the view from his office and before walking to his seat where he continues his address.

“There will be no trace of the enemy. We will make our cities destroyed by the invader better than any city in Russia,” he said.

Look I want to be fair to both sides Russian military are wrong for invading Ukraine but at the same time Ukraine soldiers are placing military equipment in civilian areas and have been warned repeatedly by Russian military to evacuate civilians and the Ukraine government is refusing, technically he's using them as shields and using seize fire to move soldiers and military equipment around and place traps, they also keep foreigners or foreign students in high target areas to deter Russian bombings look Russian forces are doing bad stuff too but anyone who thinks one country plays fair in war is delusional I'd just thought I'd give you the other side of the story seen as no madia is showing it, go on duck duck go and search Ukraine soldiers wound two Chinese students trying to leave and there's a lot of reports of this happening to black people especially.

Zelenesky I wish if you forget your personal bravery. Save Ukraine. negotiate with Russia to save your country before you are changed into ash and dust like any other countries. Nobody will save you except yourself. Be smart and rational. Tell to Russia you are no more allied with NATO. There is nothing simple as this rather than willing to destroying your lovely country's.

What a liar! To say that he is not hiding, he uses the presidential office as recording stage. Well, it is obvious that he couldn't be in his office for longer than the brief time needed to record his speech because he would be captured by the highly trained forces that are tasked with that mission. And he says he will be there "for as long as it is necessary to win in our patriotic war”. Well, he knows perfectly well that it is impossible for Ukrainian soldiers to win a war against the Russian army. Therefore, who is meant to win the war? Who is this message encouraging?
