I'd kinda like to see the vehicle performing in snow and less of seeing you discuss how the vehicle performs in the snow.

I have a 2015 Lattimore 4x4, 9 speed automatic & live in the mountains. I put it in 4x4 snow mode & take it out of anti skid in order to maintain control without stopping. So far, its been great driving up a semi steep snow filled driveway. I have almost 65k miles on it.

Sand mode is the fun one... the gas peddle is frisky, the steering is quick and the rear end comes alive 👍. I’ve found auto mode works the best for most all road conditions even on snow... I think snow mode works best on icy icy roads with it’s delayed heavy steering and less responsive brake peddle.

It performs well in the snow. I have a 2016 Trailhawk and even though it’s not a manly looking vehicle, for the price and what you get, It’s well worth it.

Glad you made this. I have a 2017 Renegade 4x4 Sport 6-speed that works very well in the snow and over the potholes in Chicago. Love my slow little Jeep

I own a Jeep Renegade upland edition. Its a basic jeep with 4X4 system, it work great in snow, we recently had a big snow storm and my jeep went through 12 inches of snow in auto mode. For the snow mode it great for driving when the snow is falling and is caked on the roads and you will have zero slippage. But if you want to get unstuck 4x4 lock or Auto works just fine. Haven't tried sand and mud mode yet.

Hey I’m glad to see another man has a renegade like me. Seems to be a chick car. I live in the beautiful Durango Colorado at 6, 500 feet about sea level I purchased the Renegade Upland which comes with pretty much everything the latitude does. Except for a couple small features. I drove it today in about 9 inches of snow with no issues. In fact I drove right around a huge Ford truck we just couldn’t seem to get traction. Thanks for the video I appreciate you.

The best factory tires I have ever had are on my Cherokee trailhawk. They put a set of $800 firestones on there from the factory

Mine is similar, But mine has a 9 speed Auto ( I would prefer the manual ) I have a 1.3 turbo.. making 177 hp and 210 ft-lb of tq. Mine is a Lattitude, with the Upland Edition.. has same 8.7 inch lift as the trail hawk as well as the skid plates under it. Mine also can turn off the ESC.

You can also disable the ESC on the 9 speed 2.4L. Also in snow mode you should notice a different feel to the steering as well as the throttle. Steering input is slower and it gives a heavier feel to the power steering.

I hate that they never offered the stick in the trailhawk. I love manual transmissions. You don't need traction control when you can just up shift before the power can spin the tires, am I right? I just drive my 5 speed silverado in 5th because I know it will never have to power to spin out. (It's just a plain Jane work truck).

In snow mode, with an automatic, it would also start in 2nd gear.

OK NOW I AM TERRIFIED TO DRIVE MY RENEGADE IN THE SNOW. I HAVE THE TRAILHAWK AND I AM STILL LEARNING THE FEATURES HOWEVER I DO NOT WANT TO SLIDE AND CRASH IN THE SNOW HEADING TO WORK…… ANY ADICE???

I live in Sweden and my jeeps door locks always gets frozen and stuck no matter how many times I spray them with oil.

I have a steep driveway that goes around in a half circle, and my girlfriend's renegade went it up it no problem with 8 inches of fresh snow on top of ice (with all season tires)
