TGL gets the 'Tiger-effect'; despite 'laughable' play from Jupiter Links G.C.

TGL Match Two was the debut of Tiger Woods and his Jupiter Links Golf Club. By the end of their 12-1 loss to the Los Angeles Golf Club, the Jupiter Island resident Woods was laughing so hard, he was literally crying.

“We were entertaining,” said Woods. “We hit a lot of shots. I think the people there got to see how bad pros can be. It was just a boat race, oh my goodness. But we had a great time.”

And that may be the most important point. Golf fans could relate to the iconic golfers more than ever before. Not only because Tiger was mic'ed up on ESPN, along with Los Angeles Golf Club players Collin Morikawa and Justin Rose, but because it was relatable to see pro golfers have a horrible play on the links.
