Baking Tip #1 - How to Bake Flat Cake Layers Using Cake Strips (Store Bought or DIY!)

The first of (hopefully) many segments on my top baking tips and tricks!
Watch as I demo how to use store bought cake strips, AND how to make your own at home. This technique produces beautifully fluffy and soft cake layers.

I have always baked cakes in a bain-marie or a water bath. It's so simple, I don't have to play with "metal toothpicks". Lol.

It was helpful, i believe that.
But I use another trick.
Like adding ice cubes at the bottom when the cake starts taking some shape.
This flattens the cake but I never took notes of the edge.
And it also takes more time to bake.
