Is the reporter for real? He literally says "did you get a lot of reaction to that superbowl commercial?" He then later tries to take it back and says "I didn't mean the commercial he was in. I meant the time I met him at the Superbowl."

He can't get his lies straight. He was embarrassed and had to lie his way out of it.

This was not the first time someone called Jackson Laurence Fishburne. In the audition for Pulp Fiction, he got so mad when someone called him Mr. Fishburne. After Tarantino heard of his rant, he immediately picked him for the role of Jules Winnfield.
