The addition to T17 maps in Path of Exile's 3.24 expansion was...controversial. I reckon MANY big changes are coming in PoE 3.25: Settlers of Kalguur. These are all of them listed in order from largest to smallest, with confidence levels attached!

Tier 17 maps will not be removed. In the 6th map device slot spolier it says you can unlock your first t17 map

Easy fix for T17s: let ppl that hate them run scoured maps just for uber fragments. At least SSF would be cleansed from this disgusting bullshit called "bridge between maps and ubers". Also GGG should fix some scarabs. I have no idea what is the reason for "Area contains Alva/Jun/Niko" etc scarabs. If you run them in Atlas, you already have 100% chance to have them in your maps anyway and if you don't run those in Atlas, those encounters are quite useless and it's a waste of scarab slot.

all they need to do for back to basics is to change its text to something like this "your maps up to Tier 16 randomly have between 0-80% more explicit modifier effect, extra content cannot appear in your maps cannot apply influence to your maps" something like that.

hot take here i liked that there was some aspirational mapping content. like before after you farm past tier 16 and you upgrade gear a few times after that mapping gets way too easy and there is no way to test your characters except vs bosses however allot of people dont like bossing so that is a way to fill that gap however i agree that they are over tuned and busted to the max

For me T17s B2B farming was the best in Necropolis, I haven't crafted with coffins, I've only used embers sometimes in specials cases, so again T17s B2B was all my Necropolis experience. Said this, I would just change some numbers of the mods and add new maps and bosses, I would never touch the rewards on the T17s as that's what makes them really special and not the Uber fragments

I don't think they'll remove t17's because one option to unlock slot 6 for maps is to do a t17

I think the point about feeling like if you can’t do T17s you just miss out is spot on. I hope that changes.

They're cathering more and more to "juicers" and promoting gameplay based heavily on trading.
The game is going more and more to shit for SSF players :/

I've never had more fun with a map system... Took me a while to be able to safely clear t17s and even then I needed to roll them to avoid certain mods... The rewards were fun and kept me coming back for more. If they remove it or Nerf the rewards that will be a shame

IMO, removing the lantern could be enough of a nerf.

What I would like to have is less of the T17 mods per map and to disable back to basics for T17’s.

I think they'll be fine with keystones disabled for T17.
It's reasonable for them to be the most rewarding content, they're harder than T16, they should be more rewarding.

A way I could see them getting "nerfed" would be making them untradeable, so people categorically cannot endlessly cycle them.
Still can trade the uber fragments, but if they were untradeable they couldn't easily be funnelled to people that could run them 24/7 with insane builds.

T17 were great, all multipliers were ok, problem was with necropolis league giving another layer of multipliers, and all problems T17 had was mixing alflames with new Scarabs that havent been completely tested .

They will eventually add new T17 maps/ubers but not this league. It's too soon (and a ton of work). They need to update the system and make it reasonable first.

I honestly wish they would just make T17 a scaled up T16. And then make the uber bosses white and unscaled. They are able to balance pinnacle bosses, why not make the T17 uber fights a legit "stepping stone" to regular ubers? The mods make the T17 bosses far too rippy and not fun. I end up setting my entire Atlas III to have NO nodes selected to run the T17s as easy as possible. It's really dumb.

If T17 stays the only tier worth playing then I hope they will at least add more layouts. Like a dunes one. It needs a severe nerf to loot and/or have boss fragments moved to the non uber variant of each boss
