Looks quite a lot like the Zephyrus and I wish they made this into a zephyrus too as a 17 inch version with thunderbolt 3 and a webcam

What i like the most about this Asus W700G3P is its
(1) RAM which can accommodate up to 64 GB DD4 2666Mhz&
(2) Intel Xeon E-2176M processor,
(3) Storage - Upto 4 TB
(4) 1 x thunderbolt 3 usb-c with display port 1.4 (40GBPS)

Dislike (downside)
(1) 97% screen color accuracy (Expected 100% SRBG and 100% Adobe RGB) Could have been 1080P with 100% sRBG color gamut
(2) 54Wh battery, (Could have been a 90Wh battery)
(3) Missing RJ-45, Gigabit Ethernet, 10/100 Ethernet

When I first saw this I have a lenovo x1 extreme on order and was about to cancel the X1 extreme but then start reading and looking at the specs.

I wish they included an Ethernet port and better resolution. Love the fact that its 17" and 16:10 in a 15" form factor but the resolution is just not really high enough for content creator/coder/network admins.
I don't really care for 4k on a laptop (even at 17") it's an overkill IMHO since you would need to scale everything up. but something like 1600p on this would be awesome.

other questions:
- how many ssd slots?
- how many memory slots?
- do the SDcard slot have your card stickout when it is in or it or it goes in all the way flushed? I like to keep a SDCard in all the time as additional storage. don't want part of the card sticking out and getting caught.
- how big/heavy is the power adapter? (it seems to be 180watts so it is probably going to be alittle big/heavy)

The trackpad number pad thing seems gimmicky. The thing about a real numb pad is the physical feel of it to make it faster than using the top row of your keyboard.
this trackpad/numpad has no tactile feel to it and by the time you look down or move your finger to use it you could have just use the top keyboard row number key. Especially now that you have to tap an extra button to enable the track numberpad and then tap the button again to disable it.

@Engadget do u know if it will be configurable like competitor workstation? Interesting specs but no way I will pay for a 1k video card that I don't need, Intel uhd graphics (like in the LG gram 17) would be enough for my workflow.
