China’s Economy: Why Xi Jinping Needs Jack Ma Back | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Jack Ma, once China’s most prominent billionaire, has made a rare public appearance at Ant Group’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, praising AI’s potential. However, this isn’t just about his speech—it’s about his return to China’s public sphere under Xi Jinping’s watchful eye. After years of regulatory crackdowns, including the cancellation of Ant Group’s record-breaking IPO and Ma’s fall from grace, his comeback is part of Beijing’s attempt to project economic stability. But can showcasing Ma rebuild global investor confidence as China’s economy slows? Or is it a mere PR exercise? Palki Sharma tells you more.

Indians should learn how the Chinese Govt carry out their nation building sincerely. It is very hard to do it with the long corrupted practice but with strong conviction and political will, every country can do it.

India eyes on China, and China eyes on US. It is strange Indian think if China collapsed they will grasp the change to be next manufacturer hub.

China's development goals:

• Eradicating poverty and hunger
• Implementing innovation-driven development strategies (eg: EVs, GreenTech, quantum computing, semiconductors, space etc)
• Advancing industrialization (eg: industrial robotics, 5Gs etc)
• Ensuring equal access to basic public services for all citizens
• Safeguarding equity and social justice (Jack Ma is a fine example)
• Protecting the environment (Renewable energy now accounts for more than half of China's electricity supply)
• Efficient utilization of resources and sustainable energy
• Improving national governance (eg: China's relentless fight against corruption and nepotism)

India's development goals:

• To counter China
• To outdo China
• To replace China
• To overtake China
• To outstrip China
• To beat China
• To surpass China
• To outperform China
• To eclipse China
• To outclass China
• To exceed China

Note: Now you know why Indian media always talk about China all day everyday? Without a mention of india's corruption, unemployment, wealth inequality, caste, India's struggling farmers, poverty, low productivity, inadequate healthcare, poor infrastructure, substandard education etc 😂😂😂😂

This "analysis", which assumes every comment Jack Ma has ever made is the undisputed truth, is simply ridiculous. Jack Ma had made ridiculous arrangements with Chinese banks, such that Alipay could operate like a bank without any of the standard government oversight. The Chinese government, not wanting a 2008-like crash to their banking sector, stopped it. Apparently, Indian media doesn't like sound banking regulation.

There are many Jack Mass in China, but there is only one Andani in India, and similarly, there is only 1 Elon musk in America.

Jack Ma went thru re-education and is now back to being a good Chinese citizen. He recognized his roll as a capitalist but under the direction of the CCP not like the US capitalists who run the US government. President Xi approve his return and hopefully he will work to improve the Chinese society.

Amazing China love from India. India is the country that is responsible for losing 45 trillion of it's own wealth but has the audacity to criticize China (The world's richest country) about finances and wealth management.

In Socialist China, the state reign supreme. Nobody is above the law. In democratic and freedom loving India, Adani and his Gujarati buddies rule india through their agents in high office, including Modi 😂😂😂😂

Adani is a spoilt brat of Modi, Jackma is more refined.
