I just received my Foundation series invite a few days ago and the number one reason why I am seriously considering buying it even though Elon just announced at the earnings call that they will stop Foundation series and start making regular cybertrucks next quarter is because I believe I am closer to 1 million on the reservation list if I do not buy the foundation series I estimated that it could take me 3 years minimum before I would be able to buy a regular standard cybertruck

I'm a huge Tesla fan and ordered the CT early. It underperforms on Charge times, range and towing range. It will no replace my 15 yr old F150. I plan to keep the F150 and order a Model Y instead.

So in essence depending on how your calculating the cost of FSD you're actually looking at a premium of anywhere from $6, 000 to $8, 000 for the foundation series in order to get it early

When the new Chevy Corvettes came out in 2020 they had markups at dealers of $20, 000 and you were not getting anything for it it was just a markup by the dealer

I received an email to configure my CT, but the Foundation isn't worth the upgrade. I get the feeling the FSD price will go down to about $50/mo

Unless you know for a fact that you are number 300, 000 or less on the reservation list you could be waiting a minimum of 3 years if not longer before your number gets called again and I'm referring to anyone who recently got a foundation series invite and is deciding on whether or not to pull the trigger
