I am absolutely OBSESSED with the costumes in this movie, especially The Baroness. I watched several times already, one time with only pausing and admiring the dresses, I couldn't even focus on the dialogue properly. I felt like they weren't shown off enough in the movie, that was surely a lot of work. But that's what the pause button is for nowadays. ;) I also had the impression that she had a lot of great looks but TWENTY-ONE, Jesus Christ!

I'm actually glad they gave us a female villain rather than this being a female-bashing male film. And they didn't treat all the male characters like incompetent dummies. The butler was a good man trying to protect Cruella, and Jaspar and Horace had concerns for Cruella going too far. And that's something I actually liked about the film.

Emma Thompson really is underrated as an actress who can play baddies. I think this might be her first role as a villain and I AM LIVING FOR IT. She really aged gracefully and the costumes were exquisite. Dame Emma’s acting is to die for and somehow comparing her to Miranda Priestly is an understatement 👁👄👁

Emma Thompson's role as a self-centered psychopath is absolutely exquisite. I never laughed so hard whenever her part came on the screen. What an actor. She was delicious to watch!
