A Christmas Tale From Chiang Mai, Thailand 🇹🇭🎅

Hey everyone, and welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm out in the nightlife streets of Chiang Mai, Thailand to celebrate Christmas. We're going to start our day at One Nimman, a popular shopping and dining district in the Nimman area. They have a Christmas festival going on, so we're going to check that out and see what all the fuss is about. After that, I head to the Maya Mall.

After we've had our fun at the Christmas festival, we're going to head to my traditional Christmas Day celebration. This is a special event that I do every year.

Just to think that two years ago I was there in Niman for one month and would go to the reservoir to run in the mornings in preparation for the Chiang Mai Marathon.I know that Niman is an expat playground and not authentic Thailand, but I love it. Best coffee shops in the world. I wanted to go back this year, but things got in the way. Hope to be back. Thanks for the blogs and happy 2025.

Happy Christmas Wayne what a back drop the reservoir is beatiful. I live on Koh Phangan and the older I get I tend to shun anywhere there are lots of Westerners hence spending lots of time in Chiangrai. I am turning into Victor Meldrew I think lol. I like Nimman and Maya, but I'm careful to avoid them at peak times. You're right about One Nimman. Architecturally speaking, it gives the impression it's a Thai take on Italianate architecture. Anyway, thanks again for a festive reminder from Chiangmai 👍
