I never got over Paperman. I wish disney had followed this style.

That was actually a really nice boss. He didn't say anything about how the guy had wasted a whole stack of forms, he just gave him new ones. I knew managers who would have fired people for that sort of thing.

I love how the girl was willing to follow the paper airplane from the get-go. Where as the guy was practically forced to go along with it.

A silver lining to Wish bombing is that it's brought a good amount of people's attention back to Paper man and going: "WHY DIDN'T THEY DO IT THIS WAY!?"

Can I just say that the two protagonists are an EXTREMELY adorable couple? I mean seriously, their kids will forever cherish this story at bedtime.

Came back to watch this after so long, because of the Free Guy ending. i was in the theater and this music was playing and i knew i heard it before. stood till after the movie was over and saw this as the song in the credits..

I really wish Disney and more Studios in general did more more of this 2D/ 3D hybrid style. There’s so much potential for it. A perfect balance of both styles. Hopefully with the success of Spiderverse more studios will be daring.

The composer does the soundtrack for Free Guy, and I recognized the Paperman melody within some of those new songs. Was in tears! This song means a lot to me.

Just back from "Free Guy" and when the very first few notes started to play, I thought, I know this song, but where? Literally a few more notes later I almost cried out "PaperMan"! I so do love the short 6 minute film it came out . I used to watch it 3 times a day for months when it first came out. Once in the morning, then lunch, than at night. I had tears streaming down my cheeks in the theaters for "Free Guy". I'm not ashamed to say I am a 66 year old man who can be moved by Romance. Especially in the part where the paper airplane lifts off out of the flowers and she starts the chase. The only girl I ever kissed, I married. she passed away in 2009 from Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 49 after 30 years together. I think of her when I see this short. We got brought together kind of by accident. Back in 1980 while visiting my younger sister at her work, I held the front lobby door open for a very pretty young lady coming out. She smiled at me and said thank you making good eye contact. I didn't know her. 6 months later My sister (now a close friend of hers) had invited her over to my parents home not knowing I had met her and the young lady didn't know I was her Brother. She smiled and remembered I had held the door open for her. We talked, I asked for a date, she said yes. we haven't been apart since till her death .

i like it, its like the paper airplane represents his affection for her and even though it doesn't get to her at first he keeps trying even when society tells him to give up and be quiet like his boss at work and when he thinks all hope is lost all the airplanes represent his heart which is telling his head to follow his heart

The ending music when the paper plane starts leading the woman, that music is just perfect. Giving us an excitement and goosebumps everytime. I feel like it’s a perfect song to chase your lover in the big city.

Wish should've been animated like this, but we got the cheapest looking cel-shading possible
