Turned out really nice man.  My 6yr. old son watched the video with me he said,  "WOW he did a great job on that".  So technically this is two thumbs up.

Thank you for using the mitered edge on the trim piece for the top. I've seen too many videos of this table where people have the end grain exposed. i think the mitered corner is just a better look.

I'm working on a table with a maple plywood top.  Would you recommend torching it to get a similar effect that the wood you used in this video did? I'm also thinking of painting the legs white, but I don't have a paint gun.  Can I use a brush and roller combo to do this, or will it come out poorly?

Nice job, thanks for sharing. I'm curious to know what you filled the gaps between the 2x4s with, that would be a lot of wood filler. Did you use joint compound or something?
