Howdy Mr. 731..

Dug up this gem of a video from your early days..

Father's day is coming up and my wife wants me to build her dad (I call him Pops) a patio table for the porch umbrella we just bought him for his birthday a month ago.

Little did we know or even think about...those umbrellas, even with the 50lb base we got, is NOT a stand alone umbrella. The slightest breeze knocks it over.

Soo...It needs a table to be inserted into.

Quick search on YouTube and found your video...AGAIN (I've watched it several times before. But now, I'm looking for ideas.

So, I'm gonna incorporate aspects of your build along with some other tables I've seen...tweak them a bit and build my Pops an umbrella table.

Hello Matt. I made a table and bench’s from your design for my daughter. To say she loved it would be an understatement. Then her best friends (a adopted daughter) from grade school now wants one. I want to a furniture store to try to price something like that and they did not have anything like that but now the sales person there wants one.

Thanks again for your easy to follow build on the farm table. I just finished the table for thanksgiving. My wife loves the look and we went with a black stained base and a gray stained top made from 2x12's. My table is counter height and 72 inches long and 44 inches wide. Best part is I made it for half of what it would cost and built benches for it for that price.

Beautiful furniture. The best part is that it will last forever. In a hundred years, your grandkids will still dine at this table.
