I made some "modern" atl atl darts with carbon arrow shafts. It takes little effort to throw them over 100 yards.

I found and donated an Atlatl stone that was estimated to be 5 to 8 thousand years old! Donated it to the Ohio Archeological Society! Robert Converse was the President of it then!

For faster "reload" i prefer to put hole instead of spur on atlatl, and sharp end instead of drilled one on spear. Easier in every aspect
