I love it when humanity saves animals, but when dogs in particular are saved...I dunno. Something about that is so powerful and breaks my freakin heart. If this ever happens to your dog or anyone else, don’t be afraid or embarrassed to call fire and rescue for help. Fire and rescue respond to these calls just like any other, so they can gain real life training and experience for when they have to respond to save a person.

When my uncle was a kid he was with his parents and his 3 dogs in the middle of the winter so the lake was freezing. One dog saw something on the lake and ran onto the frozen part but the frozen part broke off and the dog fell. My uncle jumped into the freezing cold water without thinking and grabbed the dog and took it back to land, they spent a lot of time with the adults so they could warm up and survive and they did both live!

This is a touching rescue. I just thought it would be nice to share my uncles rescue story as well
