On thin ice: Alberta man jumps into icy pond to rescue dog

St. Albert Fire has received an increase in ice rescues, and CTV’s Angela Jung witnessed a man diving into a pond to save his dog Saturday.

am I the only one thinking, why aren't those reporters helping him. The guy just came out of ice cold water in there chatting with him as he is walking. Get into a vehicle get, get him a blanket. They just stand there look at him when he was in the water.

Almost all dog owners would do the same thing. It still surprises me how people don't understand the bond a person develops w/ their dog.
