To the person who asked about how can someone serve in the military and still vote democrat… my experience with this was more officers were more left of center and more enlisted were right of center. The thing I have experience in is that my super conservative squad mates turned blue after they got out and married democrat women. I actually had a struggle with calling them out on
This because some of the stuff they would “champion” for the left was so dead opposite of what they believed, and did, in the military. I didn’t want it to come between them and their wives, but they were so obnoxious with their hypocrisy.

Nick. I am a former Marine tell your son about the changes from Boot to real military, it's a shock to go from well organized to hurry up and wait and the attitudes of those who are less savory. I told my daughter about this when she went into the Navy to prepare her as much as possible. The military has changed quite a but from my days of service in the 80's.
