Everyone understands that there is evil in our world, but what or WHO is behind that evil? God exposes the who in Isaiah 14—namely, Satan. Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 are two of the most descriptive passages about Satan in the Bible. Why do we need to understand his background, his tactics, and his ultimate demise? Because he is “on the prowl” to attack us, discourage us, deceive us, and tempt us. However, God outlines in Scripture how we can take our stand against the devil. So powerful & crucial that we know that the devil is real & is working 24/7 to destroy us. He has demons to study us get to know us & learn our weak points. He flirts with marriages, he pushes drugs to kids & tempts our lustful side with pornography. He is ruthless and relentless. Believe me I learned the hard way, the heartbroken way. He is our biggest enemy and loathes us and our families and friends. But we put on the armor of God and stand firm.
