The Nazis and their allies set up ghettos to isolate and control millions of Jews during the Holocaust. Life in the ghettos was overcrowded and miserable, with limited access to food, clean water, heat, and medical services. Despite the conditions, Jews found ways to maintain dignity and community. This video explores how many ghettos were established and when, life in the ghettos, and how Jews resisted Nazi control—both secretly and through violent acts like the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

Few people know that there were hundreds & hundreds of ghettos across Nazi-occupied Europe. Sadly, too many local complicit and silent witnesses made the existence and running of ghettos possible. Thank you for sharing this video.

I still & never will be able to fathom how this happened & the vast destruction of human beings could be avoided in the consciousness of their fellow humans.

Although these brutal and saddening facts cut at the very heart of the human soul, they are important to be presented in this time of strife and rising antisemitism. People need to remember when making civic and political decisions, especially for the younger generations. Thanks for the video
