Dear Mr. Hudson,

I am continuously watching this and the part 2. This is mainly because of lack of a printed manual. Also, you have a nice voice and you provide detailed explanation’s as well as suggestions.

I am an ex D7000 user, which I used for 10 years and sold it along with the entire kit, once the camera hit 10 years and I found myself busy looking after my son and my elderly father.

Now 2 years later, my son is older and my father is better, I wanted to get back into photography and since mirrorless is the new tech, I decided to proceed. Got this with a 18-140mm and an external wall charger thrown in.

Your walkthrough really helps in getting me up to speed on a mirrorless as well as brushing up on the Nikon user interface.

Thank you SO MUCH for this! My last (digital) camera was a Nikon D5000, which I sold a couple of years ago after not having used it for a long while. Needless to say, upon receiving my Z50 II today, I am *thoroughly* overwhelmed. I would've drowned in the menu without this.

Still watching the video and I’m loving it. For some reason however, there are several spots where it will just freeze for a few seconds (the playtime is still advancing so it’s not just buffering) and then the screen will be scrambled for a second and then it’s back to normal. I loose a second or two of what you were saying. Replaying it just does the same thing, also does it on a different device. Not a big deal, just thought I’d let you know.

Fantastic and informative video!! Thank you for doing these as they are helpful for all skill levels. In custom playback controls (f3) 1:00:02 I changed the AE-L/AF-L button to “Resume shooting” as my muscle memory when reviewing a photo through the viewfinder while shooting was to start focusing again.
