In regards to the Mayan Calander thing, I specifically remember a large group of people getting the date of it wrong and being convinced the world was going to end on the day of the 2012 highschool graduation in my school. Now it wasn't my graduating year, but I was in band so I had to attend and preform. I can confirm, that was a fun day! We where cracking jokes like crazy! The entire class had the mindset of "We gonna have fun today. And if it goes wrong, oh well! They said where gonna die later anyway, we'll use that as an excuse!" It was awesome. Most fun graduation I ever went to.

I was waiting for Oats to mention the movie 2012. I remember watching it in theaters and it made me cry (I was 16 or 17), but then I watched it again in one of my classes on December 21, 2012 since it was the last day of class before winter break and we were all having a great time lol

As a Christian, we don’t know or really care when the world will end. We just focus on spreading the good news of Jesus Christ whenever we can, so that if God does come back, we’ll be ready. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 of our Bible states, “for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.” Which basically is telling us that we won’t expect it. Using that one wack dude to represent the entirety of Christianity works for the silliness of the video, but in case anyone was curious, I thought I’d tell you what most other Christians believe.

I know this was a joke, but I do remember when before the year of 2000 happened, a lot of people were worried about the new millennium came the computers couldn't handle it. So, on 1/1/2000 all the computers would stop working and there would be a disaster because the computers couldn't deal with 1/1/00. Tech companies worked not have this happened. They updated the software, so things could continue as normal.
