How To Run The Duo Concept (Gap Scheme)

The Duo concept is one of the most widely used concepts in the NFL and college game. It's an all-purpose run play that pairs well with inside zone due to the leverage differences with the same look.
You've most likely seen this on the goal line, any time you see a WR motion in and a run up the middle, this is Duo. That WR motion is simply to add numbers to the box and pick up anyone who isn't handled from the blocking scheme.
The version in this diagram is from a 20 Personnel (not the traditional TE in a 3 point stance). The rules remain the same though.
You can block this in multiple ways, with using either a number system or a gap responsibility only. Either way, the gist of it is...get DOUble teams at the point of attack and kick out the EMLOS (end man on the line of scrimmage). RB reads the playside inside linebacker, which requires patience from the RBs but also makes this read very simple.
