I wanted a stage 5 but my tuner said that I have to pay for each stage individually along the way, one day I will make it to stage 5 currently around 4.25 so I'm close to unlocking the final boss stage

The “Stage” 1, 2, 3 ect comes from the days of the mags “max power and car forums where people would list the proven tried and tested mod’s needed to get to a bhp level, usually in increments of 50-100 bhp, if the mods are commonly done on an engine platform then everyone in that circle ⭕️ know what stage 1, 2, 3 ect means, it’s just used to short reference the tuning level of the car

Example of staged clutch:
Stage 1-- an organic compound disc with a slightly stronger pressure plate

Stage 2- a lot of times will be the same pressure plate and better quality disc (i.e. organic/kevlar, 4 puck kevlar, many differant combos)

Stage 3-- an even stronger plate(usually still sprung) and somewhere along the lines of a full ceramic/metallic 6 button (puck)

Stage 4-- unsprung disc and ridiculous pressure plate.

Anything more than Stage 2 really isn't recommended for something that's going to be a daily driver and is overkill.

I have been told to NEVER remap your CLA180 1.6. It can damage other parts due to the added power. Just service the Car and if you need more power, buy a faster Car. It will be better in the long run... because last thing you want to do is pay more to Fix problems.

i can't beleive that stage thing cought on lol
probably fried their brain doing too much racing games.
every car is different and needs to be tuned to each preference and whatever goal/purpose.
there is no universal "stage" noobs. i hope u learn watching this video.
