The main thing I have found to spoil my look is not smiling! I can put on a cute outfit, and do my hair and makeup, but if I have a drab look on my face, it ruins the total look. So, don’t forget to smile (and have good posture).😊

Thanks for the gentle reminders! If anyone finds this helpful - Soma makes a panty called Vanishing Edge microfiber, comes in high leg, brief and a hipster. They have silicone on the edges to keep them in place, which I don't notice at all. I find that the high leg is my favorite- leg openings don't dig in, waist stays in place and the ones with the stretchy lace across the top are super cute. They are comfortable too.

You need to consider getting yourself a Blissy pure silk pillowcase. I used to have fly away looking hair like yours shows here, when I woke up in the morning and since I got my pillowcase NO MORE FLY AWAY DRY LOOKING HAIR and it stays smooth all day long! No need for any product on my hair or flat ironing it to smooth it! And it stays cool and if you move around you have coolness all over it! I have 4 of them! I am not connected on any way to that business except to get a product! It is AMAZING!!! Worth every dime.

Beautiful classy dress you wore to your stepdaughter’s wedding. It fit you perfectly, it was dressy and respectful for the occasion, and as you mentioned, you weren’t trying to outdo the mother of the bride or the bride herself.
Some mothers try to wear too sexy or mini-dresses to their children’s special occasions. For example, a red sequined minidress is not the right outfit for a child’s graduation or wedding, but I see the equivalent occasionally. We can still look cute and current and let someone else be the star.

Yes! I was wearing a pretty pair of sandals and I didn't realize my heels were all dried up until I was out with my friends and I looked down at my pretty shoes...LOL . I tried hiding my feet all evening. It's paying attention to those things that make a person look polished.
