> changes that took my hair from this to this
> “before” being a picture of hair put up in a bun, where only roots are visible
> “after” being a video of styled hair in motion, where only ends are visible

why? just why?

Guys you do NOT have to get your hair trimmed this often! Learn about your own hair and make an educated decision as to when is a good time for a trim. Especially if you’re trying to grow your hair out.

‘I don’t use elastics anymore only claw clips or silk scrunchies’
Said the girl with an elastic in her wrist for the whole video 😌

Your hair are the most fragile when they are wet because depending on how porous they are they can absorb the water, which makes them elastic and prone to breakage. Trimming doesn't make your hair grow faster since they grow from your scalp, and not from the ends.

Just an FYI, that brand of protein was found to have heavy metals, just be careful.

In the past year, I tried three different popular hair growth serums. The one that performed the best for me and gave me real result is littlleexttrra reactivate hair growth serum. In just four months, it had a big difference. I started seeing baby hairs after 12 weeks, and by the 16th week, they were distinctly visible and started to cover the empty area on my scalp.

I do none of this and my hair looks like that.
😛
I just use a shampoo.
No oiling, no conditioner, no head massage, nothing.
Yeah I obviously do trim though.

Genes matter too. 😁

As someone who actually naturally has thick hair that is difficult to manage, here are my tips.
First of all, I wash my hair every 3-4 days and I shampoo my scalp twice. Then, I go in with a conditioner but I leave that in my hair for a minute or two. However, if I’m shaving, this is the point where I’ll shave so that I can let the conditioner sit in my hair and deeply moisturize it. Finally, wash it off, clip up the hair, and wash my body. I usually do a cold shower for like 1-3 minutes so that it also rinses my hair and closes the hair follicle.
I only ever blow dry my hair for special events or if I’m diffusing bc I have wavy hair, and that’s usually only less than 2-3 times a month. I usually use a brush to define my waves and scrunch in some curl cream into the ends of it. I use a towel to scrunch out excess water and stuff and I use a claw clip on the top of my head so I can get volume so my hair doesn’t lay flat.
Regarding the video, this is such a scam like I’m not trying to be rude or anything but this is so fake. The actual tips in this video isn’t that bad and again, everyone’s hair type is different. If you want someone who gives actual good hair tips, follow Audrey Victoria. When I started haircare, she did an amazing job educating me about the importance of hair care and how to actually properly maintain your hair. I get a lot of compliments from people bc of how shiny my hair is and how I don’t really have any noticeable split ends (this isn’t bragging this is just according to other people). So please, don’t be scammed by this and follow Audrey she’s great!! ❤️

I started oiling my hair, and then I started getting crusty scabs within a week. My hair fell out wherever the scabs had formed. Then a couple of weeks later I saw one of her videos saying you shouldn't oil your hair if you have seborrheic dermatitis. 🤦‍♀️ It's been three months and I still have the bald spots.

Also eating eggs regularly. Also I heard it’s best to never brush when wet even with a wet brush because that’s when the hair is most delicate, best to always brush when dry

The only that is going to be a massive help is taking more protein. I had severe hairfall, it was so bad that i used to literally cry after every shower. I started going to gym and so started taking ptotein shake and idek where all that hairfall went.

Totally agree with this! I've been doing about 90% of this for about 6 months. I'm loving the HUGE difference! 😊
