I use this technique, if you're going to use it, lemme give you some tips, 1. Don't use only the flicker jab, cambinate with other punches (My prefer combo: "Flick to the face, 2, upper, 2, left crochet) if you only use the flicker jab, is more easier to the opponent to punch you, 2. Use the flicker jab in to the face, and feint to the body, the use of the flicker jab is to get inside the guard of the opponent, if you punch to the body with the flicker jab, you're leaving your face exposed, and 3. Learn the distance's required, if your opponent is smaller, punch to the chest, to inmovilize and open some window, if is higher, punch in the face when him gets closer to you.

I have a friend who doin this, and to counter it, u need to have a good high guard and movement to close the distance, but for southpaw like me, slip inside and counter with body hook is working well.
