Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

Almost every Zepp song on YT has a comment saying "most underrated led zeppelin song, "
Which proves how amazing their music was, even with how their sound progressed...

I discovered them recently and I've been listening to their whole discography. I'm baffled because they just do NOT have a bad song. Hit after hit.

Absolutely the stankiest, coolest walking bassline in rock history! Im almost 60…been jamming on this for 45 years and keep coming back for that bass!

EVERY bass player should have this song embedded into their DNA.

That's a singer, a guitar player, a bassist, and a drummer showing off for each other. They're not playing for an audience, they're playing for themselves

Imagine being a young Jimmy Page and you have that incredible rythem section of John Bonham and John Paul Jones to create solos off of . This song is a perfect example..listen to the drums and bass during Jimmy's solos and the rest of the song for that matter . When Jimmy takes off into solo land John Bonham and John Paul Jones go right with him . Incredible !

It’s really hard to pick a favorite Zeppelin song but this is a top contender. JPJ is killing it and everybody else is killing it too. What a blues masterpiece

One of the finest rock n roll studio tracks ever recorded. Maybe the greatest rock n roll bass line ever, coupled with Bonham's fills and runs, and Jimmy, and Plant at the very top of his world. Page was just fucking amazing.

The jumps from soft to rough then absolute groove from JPJ, the talking between vocals and guitar from Plant and Page, all the drumming, like all of it, its just so good. The entire album is just oozing so much of this creativeness and synergy. To think this came right after their 1st album. People not expecting lightning to strike twice and it did that same year.
