I love how Venom doesn’t attack anyone while Eddie was on his way back to the apartment and just eats anything he can find in Eddie’s apartment along with that unlike Riot, he doesn’t take over Eddie and after going through the language process for him to speak English, says Eddie’s first name and instead of taking him over, just lets him scream and fall over, and probably thinking Oh great, now I got Eddie trip over, I better not say anything more unless I have to. It shows that even before it decides to turn on Riot, Venom is a lot more reasonable and despite being clingy to Eddie, is friendly and nice towards him.

Respect to an actor who isn't afraid to look, or in this case, sound, funny/stupid in a movie. This high-pitched scream sounds funny, but is the scream of someone who is genuinely scared/frightened by something alien. Throughout this film, Tom Hardy looks like shit, as he should as a man who has just been infected by an alien parasite, instead of looking like a typical sci-fi/action film hero.

Another good example would be Julia Roberts in "Secret In Their Eyes". One of the most beautiful actresses in the world, and as a woman who has lost their daughter, looks "a million years old", in order to tell a person's story.
