Christopher Plummer is realy a good choice for this old, former emperor. He always played the noblemen very well, like the Duke of Wellington in "Waterloo".

the movie it self was boring and dumb, with the whole affair between the captain and the maid that is a spy.. what a boring dull movie, about such a intressting subject matter!

While it is right to put WWII squarely on the shoulders of
-it is wrong to put WWI on the shoulders of Whilhelm II. At most, you can blame the Kaiser for following policies which lead to German isolation in Europe which is why Germany supported Austria-Hungry.
