the string that came out after the praying mantis is known in japanese as harigane mushi, a parisaite that lives in most praying matis in japan. In fact, back when i was in elementary school, some people went outside to play, and when i got outside, 2 people were surroundinga kid who had a praying mantis, and the 3 kids went to the outside water fountains. There, they turned the faucet on and put the butt part of the mantis in the water. about 5 seconds later, a sjngle moving black string came wriggling out. Then another one came out. Then another. in total that single mantis had 3 parisaites in them. They were called hariganemushi because it, when it gets put on land, becomes a very hard string. ( harigane is a wire that is used to put something together. it was so hard so they called it that.)Also in japan a checkmark means incorrect and a circle is a correct.
