I just ordered a mcgriddle about an hour ago and it was about half that size. I didn't remember them being that small so I googled them and got here

The price for the hash browns there is shameful. The hash browns are good but it's insane to charge even $1.00 for those. Now they are almost $2.50.

I use to love to substitute the "Folded egg" for the "Round egg" too, it use to be free however you ordered it, but now they charge you for the substitution, freaking ridiculous if you ask me. Thanks for the review Tony!

I too sometimes deconstruct the McGriddles and do the same thing with adding butter and syrup to the little pancakes! But cheese is definitely a breakfast thing. I love their bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits with the round egg, my 2nd favorite of theirs, the ever popular Egg McMuffin, also has cheese on it, and cheese omelets at home are easy to make and delicious.

I think they charge that much for 1 egg to deter people from ordering it.

Last time I went here I said I just wanted a cup of water with my meal Instead of pop but then i thought it was an expensive meal, until I got home and actually Looked at my receipt. They charged me for a bottle of water on top of my meal. Shitty water that i would never ever pay for. I should have just gotten a pop and filled it with water. Ive never been back. It used to go there about twice a week.
Was getting kind of scuzzy in there on top of that though.
Washroom was always flooded with piss and smelt like cat litter. Toilet was usually full of and covered in shit. I had already started limiting my visits because of this.
Don't even get me started about them giving me a table number and then forgetting my order for half an hour. This place isn't run or staffed by very good people. I've had beggars come up to my table and ask me for money while I was eating. I've seen people fishing around in the garbage cans to get a mcdonald's cup and come in to fill it up and sit at a table. Disgusting germs all over the tables that the workers never come out to clean

I wonder if you just asked them to swap out for the fresh cracked egg if they would still charge you? $2 is insane for just an egg! Sausage egg n chz is my go to breakfast sandwhich.

Jimmy Dean just came out with a version of this.... VERY GOOD! Really close and without the price.
Actually could you review them? Walmart has a 4 pk.
Also the frozen bag of great value sausage patties taste just like McDonald's.
