People are so serious. Unless there is a message in the movie then it should be primarily about entertainment and watchability. This movie is a great watch.

Moonraker can't be that bad. After all, up until GoldenEye, it was the highest grossing Bond at the time and many years after. Money wise, it did very well.

The critics hated Moonraker along with the Bond purists but it was the biggest box office Bond Movie of all time for decades and finished in the top ten for 1979.

The 60's and 70's had so many romantic themes to movies, it was truly a golden era. The themes after this one was not quite ever the same. Not just James Bond but other movies too. I just love the romantic themes of all the old movies. Wish they'd do some new movies like the old ones.
