Just thinking about it rationally, it is an absurd argument to suggest "Allah didn't mean what He wrote". If this particular verse caused a believer any confusion and ultimately lead them to question Islam further and eventually leave, then it would be the fault of the author.

ادم انا حاولت استخدام العين الحمئة للاحتجاج على المسملين فجاءوني برواية في كتاب العظمة نص الرواية(حدثنا أبي، ثنا سلمة بن شبيب، ثنا إبراهيم بن الحكيم بن ابان حدثني، أبي عن عكرمة قال: سعة الشمس سعة الأرض كلها وزيادة ثلاث) يقولون ان هذه الرواية تشير الى ان الناس في ذلك الزمان يعرفون ان الشمس اكبر من الارض فمن غير المعقول انهم فهموا من اية العين الحمئة على ان الشمس فعلا تغرب في عين حمئة ما رأيك بصراحة لم اعرف كيف ارد ؟

I loved your videos in Arabic and I think it’s really important for YouTubers who criticise Islam in Arabic to also do videos in English if they’re able to because you guys have soo much knowledge to share but most Muslims aren’t native Arabic speakers 😊

There is in verse quran that says that sky would fall down to earth if Allah did not hold it
وَيُمْسِكُ ٱلسَّمَآءَ أَن تَقَعَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦٓ ۗ

Thanks to the internet many more people can compare the many texts without having to consult ancient texts and books dispersed in distant libraries. This is a completely new situation which never existed before. Same for comparison of texts which exist in numerous variations. Translation programs helping.

Hi, you missed another important reason. Reason no:4, all tafsirs written by muhmed's real followers (muslims who lived with him and top scholars/apologists lived till 1200AD) confirmed sun setting in muddy water. All tafsirs written in the period from muhmed till 1200AD says sun sets in muddy water. It clearly shows everyone believed sun setting in muddy water. Now who can claim to know arabic better than them (muhmed and his real followers)????

It is interesting that Muslims will argue about the meaning of one word while the entire passage is borrowed from an existing legend!
