It does not work. I wanted to continuously scroll down to reach the bottom of any page. Instead, what happens is what’s shown in your vid: black circles floating upwards. The screen does not scroll down and this interferes with the normal functioning of my iphone, even if I triple click the side button again. Useless!

For those people like me who had their screens frozen with the gesture, press and hold both volume down and power until the gesture stops and it should allow you to click ok on the pop up to remove it from the screen.

If anyone has trouble turning this switch control recipe off with a triple click (as I did. It just keeps endlessly trying to scroll), then hold down the volume up and right side buttons at the same time (the same way you would to power down) but hold them for a really REALLY long time. Eventually the automation will stop and you can return to using your phone. Important!: this might only work if you have the countdown emergency call feature turned off, as I did, and thank god my gesture wasn't in the same direction and position as the emergency call option on the power down screen or else it would've called 911. Hoping to find a solution for autoscrolling through my Notion pages which I use as song lead sheet database much like ultimate guitar. This is a neat idea and thanks for putting in the time to explain. I'm wondering why you chose not to demonstrate autoscrolling in the demo (or the ability to triple click to stop the automation).

For anyone having problem with endless switch control, don't panic, command siri by saying "hey Siri" and command Siri to turn off Switch Control by saying "turn off Switch Control" or "Hey Siri, Turn Off Switch Control". It worked for me

You can force restart your Ipad by doing this.

If iPad isn’t responding, do one of the following:
On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

I locked my phone too and couldn't fix it. I think the issue is that triple clicking the home button to turn Switch Control off re-enables the accessibility shortcut, an endless loop. Hold down the power button to activate Siri and say "Turn on Voice Control." Then change your accessibility shortcut by saying "Tap Switch Control" until it's deselected and I changed it to something that wouldn't interfere by saying "Tap Smart Invert." Then I could say "Go to Home Screen" and triple click the home button and it was fine. I got locked out of my phone and I had to input my passcode using the voice control system in between the gestures I recorded.

hmm...this looked very promising. But when you finally have it set up, I don't see in your examples that it's actually scrolling - it just appears to be dragging the dots vertically on the screen. what am I missing

It worked on my old iPhone. But it's pretty useless since it's not infinite & has a time limit. If I can run it for 2-3 hours, then that would be a game changer.
