I bought an Ableton Push 2 and Live 10 Suite! In this video I unbox the Push 2 and talk a little bit about why I bought it. For the past 10 or so years i've been exclusively using Logic Pro, so this purchase represents a large shift in my workflow and hopefully will inspire a ton of new music and video content.

Every new piece of gear has the opportunity to change the way you write music. Having a controller designed to integrate with a DAW gives enormous opportunity to make everything more hands-on. Ableton Live 10 is a powerhouse in the MIDI track world, and offers a lot more flexibility that Logic doesn't have in this arena. While Logic is better for audio capture and mixing setups, its not as well suited for the creation of modern MIDI-centric tracks.

It’s an amazing product. You’ll not regret the investment.
A lot of people don’t figure out it’s full potential and don’t gel with it.
Pretty much no excuses for not learning what these things can do with countless vids on YouTube. Give me a shout if get stuck with anything

Bloody Ableton. I love it so much. Sweetwater is definitely sweet. Love that eurorack situation ya got goin'. But seriously, what's with the giant soda that could, at one careless gesture, make all that lovely hardware a terrible mess, maybe never to clean up? Is it a test? Did I pass? Do I get a prize?
I mean seriously, it's in almost every shot. Got to be a little easter egg, huh?


And don't you dare tell me that you never make careless gestures. That sounds like my bloody English professor of a Grandmother (I'm a molecular microbiologist, English degree . . . ha!) who could never admit she was wrong because it would some how crush her foolish ego.

Awesome video, I also agree with the integration with the DAW comment (@ 7:04) The Push can do a lot more with the seemless integration with Ableton Live, once the Push and Ableton are the world of endless possibility and creativity opens up.
