Sen. Jackson says women shouldn't have to 'birth fetuses' they don't want

California State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson testifies before the Assembly Transportation Committee for SB 309, a bill to create a specialized license plate to celebrate abortion rights and raise money for abortion clinics.

During his testimony, California Family Council representative Greg Burt, told the committee abortion violates pre-born human beings'
the right to life and "just like dehumanizing institution of slavery, it deserves to be abolished."

Senator Jackson responded saying, "As far as slavery, women who have unwanted pregnancies and aren’t allow to make those decisions are somewhat enslaved themselves to have to carry, to birth fetuses that they did not want for whatever reason."
