Hear from James Shea about his experience working at the university with a hearing impairment

Previously James was the elected academic governor of the University of Bedfordshire from 2010 to 2012. As a former secondary Head of English and now Principal Lecturer in Teacher Education, his main work is in leading Teacher Education.

James runs with the Bedford Harriers and the Bedford Parkrun every week as well as plays tennis twice a week at Towers Tennis Club in Bedford. He was recently featured in the July edition of Runner’s World talking about his issues with being a deaf runner.
