2. Pick a point 2 miles ahead - gives 1 minute for heading calc
3. Draw line 90° to track and 45° to track
4 Estimate new track
5. Use Calculator to determine drift and GS for ETA and heading if required

Very helpful, I like to use old school style of navigating instead of GPS. It makes you a more alert and a overall better pilot. This is a great method of mentally working out a diversion route. Thanks for this
