Vintage Two Speed Hand Drill Restoration

Welcome!
Today I will be restoring an old polish hand drill I picked up some time ago. Although it was in good working order, the paint was almost completely gone and was in dire need of some care. I didn't decide to paint it the same color it was painted originally since these aren't particularly rare, and the original color was not the greatest looking color. This is the "PWWE10" model, there is also a "PWWE13" which is the larger version of this drill. I haven't been able to find out a whole lot more about these drills, but I do know that newer ones have plastic handles instead of wooden ones.
Being my first video, it certainly has some flaws, but I'd like to make more and of course get a whole lot better with recording and editing. As well, I have seen similar drills like this restored on YouTube already, but I figured since I already had this drill and it was a quick and easy project it would be great to start with. I have some more interesting items which are waiting to be restored once I get a chance to that is!

Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoy the video!

Good job RR! I don't think I've ever said this, but that is a "beautiful" tool. It looks so stylish for a drill. I've never seen one just like it. Love the look you gave it!!

Nice job! The color reminds me on my first car, a Peugeot 206, painted in „hunter green“ 😄

I have this one too, belonged to my late grampa. Once i find it after cleaning up his workshop i'll keep because i know value of these old tools and there's no way i'm ever selling it.

Brilliant, looks really nice, good restoration. Could do with something on the wood to just finish it off. 👍👍
