I own one of these “cups” I bought it in an antique store over thirty years ago. The proprietor informed me it was to collect loose tea leaves, I believed her because, I was in my early 20s. Another sweet video with great explanation.. Never knew about this tea cup..
When Britain colonised our country india they spread this tea culture...
Today it became so embedded that every corner of our country we go we will find tea shop...
And most people drink tea as a must during evening time...
And about moustache again british people suddeny started to clean shave during 1950s to 1980s i think...
I saw most of films and news reels where people were clean shaven...
Now again growing beard trend happening every where in this world..
Now british people growing moustache and beard...

I haven’t seen a mustache mug in ages and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a delicate example. When I was a kid (1970s, western US) my dad’s daily mug was an ancient gnarly stein with a mustache guard. He told me, because I was a kid and this was on brand for him, that it was a pirate captain’s mug. The truth was that it had been his dad’s and that his dad had it long before my father was born (1927) and it may have been an antique when he acquired it.

I think this is the most unassumingly, subtle, absolutely hilariously-delivered video I have ever watched. 😊 ❤️ Between learning that Britain encouraged mustaches for intimidation purposes and the ding at 0:46 letting us know that you are now scary & threatening, to the exposition that tea-soaked "face furniture" is not gentlemanly and intimidating (which was something I hadn't even thought of!). *sigh* It was just such a joy to watch! :)
