The point being made here is NOT whether or not this State's Attorney prosecuted violent crimes! The point is as State's Attorney he does NOT have the authority to decide which laws he prosecutes and which laws he will NOT prosecute base on HIS likes and dislikes!! That is selective application of laws, that is banana republic system of justice.

Love how the one guy said he is tough on the bigger crimes, ok but its the little ones, like shoplifting which lead to the bigger ones. You let them go with an inch, criminals will take a life. Just look around at other States, let them out without penalty do they go straight? NO, they go out boldened to do more crimes.
