I live in the middle east and it reached 116 f today! I know in Europe they are not used to this. We just stay indoors most of the time.

I worked in North Africa Sahara desert and it was 120f . 49c minimum everyday ….. the first time I arrived there by plane just after disembarking I thought the heat was from the plane engines But as I go further I released it was just the weather …. I was shocked 😳… had to see a doctor twice in the first fews months 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫…… it was like going inside an oven …. For a guy like me that grew up in mountains 🏔 it was shocking not the least ….. after fews months my body felt like a dry piece of wood 😬😬😬😬….. now I live in London and 100 *f is ok for me 😁😁😁😁. Not that bad .

I live in deep south Texas and have 2 window air conditioners stored just in case my central air conditioner goes out which has already happened twice in 3 years. Everyone should have at least 1 window AC unit in case their central AC breaks or in this case abnormal heat waves.

Britain reaches its highest temperatures during summer heat waves that last several days. Recent extreme hot spells occurred in August 1990, August 2003, and in June and July 1976.

I live in Florida and worked outside in 104 weather and 100% humidity two weeks ago. Keep the ice chest close with towels and bottled water. The fact that this makes the news is stupid.
