On Wednesday, October 3, Stray Kids' Bang Chan was asked about Felix's vocals in the group's latest B-side track, Cover Me. The idol kickstarted a livestream on Weverse to spend time with his fans as it was his birthday. During one of the livestream's sections, the idol read a few comments and answered questions.

One of the questions asked Bang Chan, whether a particular vocal part from Cover Me was actually sung by Felix or not. whose part is the "the sun will always be there waiting after the rain" in cover me? is it really felix or chan's cause it sounds like you. it is actually felix's! it is really yongbok's. said bang chan.

Thanks for this update. I'm going to take it the opposite way and I hope Felix will somehow see this message. Maybe people had to ask Chan again because they were so impressed with Felix's ability and wanted to hear Chan praise him again. I mean, we all love to hear good things about the people we like right? Honestly all of Stray Kids are awesome as is. I also don't understand what shocked the netizens that much. I mean this by saying the first time I heard Chan say that I went back to listen and I was convinced. He would've also said he was joking if indeed he was playing a joke. We don't see the whole process of Lyric distributions when they're recording, we only know the most popular parts and it is actually not the first time that Felix's part has been credited to another member in the coloured lyrics. So I actually don't get all this doubt, but hopefully the netizens get rid of their doubts after this even though it is a bit upsetting.
