Watched this video yesterday, adjusted my grip today at the range. Game. Changer. I feel like it was the biggest thing i was doing wrong. Everything is strong and straight. Thanks guys!

Great video as usual. I just broke 100 for the first time and I attribute it all to you guys!

On another note, since you guys are both affiliated with 18Birdies, do you think you could do a swing analysis/impact show with Tony Finau? That’d be pretty cool 😎

This is great advice! Thanks. However, unfortunately I had surgery on my left wrist from a really bad golfing accident with a buggy. The surgeon now says its not looking good and may have to amputate the forearm. Can you suggest some good tips for 1 arm golf as I really dont want to give it up. Sincerely. David

Hey guys, another awesome video! I've been working on a flat lead hand to target mainly with my driver and woods. I've slowly incorporated this into my irons and hitting a lot more fairways. Do you have any drills to concentrate on a flat lead hand instead of the right more dominant hand trying to push and roll over the top?

Keep up the good work guys, love your channel!

Downward attack = better contact = less duffs= lower scores = Nice content Guys!

Great video as always ... mind me question couple of things?! His ball position is a bit forward so his left shoulder is a bit high and offline (open) with his feet = feet look closed relative to aiming stick and shoulder... doesn't that cause a weaker grip as hands are also way forward = close to impact point?! Shouldn't he center his ball position AND grip position to ease the making of a stronger grip ... it's hard to only do so from his position... i think! As well ... he's weight shifting instead of pressure shifting ... and the alignment stick practice u show is a simple "weight holding" position = as in ok for half swing 40 pitch practice and hitting turf after impact... is just me wondering ... thx again ... love watching ur stuff ;)

A downward attack angle will shallow the club path and decrease dynamic loft.

Around the 6:00 mark, when keeping your target side hip against the rod, is your weight mostly on your target side leg/foot? If so, how do "push" in that side for the downswing with your trail leg... there's not much weight on it at that point, right?

So what's the number 1 reason? Looking at his swing, his hip slide is moving the bottom of his swing well backwards, and you can tell from his lifted lead foot that he transfers his weight back to forward extremely late in his swing. I think the second fix you had, of turning the hips, and maintaining contact with the stick, rather than sliding is ultimately his fix and probably the number one reason people strike behind the ball with their irons and NOT a weak grip. He's casting his club to compensate more for his swing center than his grip weakness I believe.

I understand what they are saying here, but the man in the example video didn’t duff it. He actually made solid contact and hit ball first the. Turf. Not a duff at all.

I think I get it. So on the windup, the shift in weight is mostly due to rotation of the trunk and not any deliberate change in weight from one foot to the other. Yet on the downswing, the weight shift precedes the body unwind.

So you want to get the feeling of releasing the club after the ball?

Mine was not giving myself enough space. I was spine tilting trying to get the ball in the air, when I timed it right I’d hit bombs but I wouldn’t be consistent. Give yourself space

Truth, today I had the worst 5 hole run I have ever had, gave up 15 shots. Could not work out why. Watched this and then went and picked up my club and realised I could not see my knuckles. Now I know why i hit so many crap irons all day.

I had been trying to resolve this forever. I found that I was not doing a full swing and the full backswing with proper follow-through solved it.

Pretty bad when your main feedback to your videos is how you two dress alike. Either you guys are sponsored, or you call each otner in the morning.

Why is this not a reverse tilt? Is there a weight shift to the right foot in the backswing? At the top how much weight is on the right foot?
