What do you all think of the new audio and video quality?

I have the 2023 model and love it. Everything you say here is accurate. This bike is about as “beginner friendly” as a 95+ horsepower bike can be - it isn’t going to “jump off the line” at an intersection due to the low torque numbers at the bottom. But mine is unrestricted and it will fly for a street bike (not a supersport but will hit 150 mph) so it’s great at highway speeds. This puts it in the unique position as serving as a “long term” bike if you’re a daily rider like me as well as being okay to start IF YOU’RE MATURE in your decisions as a rider.

Not just a beginner's bike, it is the best bike! Having so much fun after receiving it so far, I am able to drive it to the workplace every day without any exhaustion. Lovin it!

The CBR650R is the perfect all-rounder: ample power, fuel-efficient, sporty but not overly so. It has everything you will ever need. I had one last year and I loved it. Unfortunately, I sold the bike a couple of months ago because I thought I needed an upgrade. So I bought the S1000RR. I love this bike as well, but if I'm honest, it's a little bit too much. The CBR650R is just the sweet spot. I miss it a lot. I'm considering trading again. :D

Just subscribed, you’re on your way up in the motorcycle content world, my friend!

I’ve ordered a 2023 CBR650R in black, but won’t get it until end-July/Aug because of a few reasons. I watch videos like yours a lot because it’s almost like living it out on one for now 😂

My first bike was a zzr600 from 1996. Best bike I've ever had. Gonna look into the cbr650 for commuting

You are telling viewer what my dad told me when I started riding when I was 16. Wish more people shared this info. With the new tech in tires you can lean even more. Great content, keep it up! Greetings from The Netherlands!

Best bike, I’ve got this as my first and can’t imagine changing it anytime soon! Swapping out the tyres to Michelin Road 6s makes it ride like a dream 👌

This is one of the best practical reviews i've seen. Thanks

The CBR650R is technically everything that you need. The bike has plenty of power and it can get you in trouble if you don’t show respect. I have a CBR1000RR now and I miss the 650 . Why? Because it is comfortable and is a perfect sport touring bike

Yes most definitely, best confidence booster and path to a bigger bike later. I just purchased one with E Clutch have to say I love it, been on bikes 40 years plus, it’s lots of fun, admittedly makes me lazy as not using the clutch, I do pull it by accident once in a while but got out the habit quickly. I nearly kill myself when I go on my other bike within the first few seconds but get back into it quickly feathering etc lol.
I would advise new riders don’t go too big, you’ll be scared off and it won’t be enjoyable, some can adapt no problem but this is where accidents start happen. They extort new riders on bigger bikes, go for the 650, build up the discounts, it’s worth it.
Get more road craft with a more management bike first, it’s worth it in the long run and when ready go up to a litre plus if so. Sad thing is now, there are strict speed limits, cameras, idiotic and more dangerous drivers on the roads now.
Stay safe, and enjoy the CBR650 if you get one with or without E Clutch.

I started riding road bikes on a KLR650 back in '12, different type of 650, but that thing almost snuffed me. (crashed into the back of a box truck and spent 2+ weeks in the ICU + 3 months of rehab.)

I'm still riding, currently a 2017 S1KRR... it's all about respecting the bike so she'll respect you back.

..another excellent video! Especially describing why you don't really need a middleweight or Liter Super Sport, unless to use on the track. (everyone knows that's more of an ego thing now)! But to be a safer rider on public roads..a CBR 650r, Ninja 650r, Daytona 660, Aprilia 660, CBR 500, GSX 8r.. is all anyone needs !!!

Just passed the first part of the A2 license (I don't have any other license, even B), now it's time for the traffic exam. This is my dreams moto, I've been watching videos, looking for information, pricing, people thoughts, and finally it seems that I'll be able to put my hands on it. Thanks for videos like yours, it makes me keep the desire of owning this beast/princess. Good content dude, new sub.

Started on a K6 gsxr 600 when I was 16. Took a while to grow into it but I was fine, cant say the same for couple buddy’s who did the same Idno maybe I was lucky. Had 10 bikes over the last 14 years.

I got the A2 24' CBR650R as my first bike. Put about 500km on it now. It is just perfect. Can't complain about it. It's just heavier than like an R3

The CBR isn't a begginer bike in my opinion. But an awesome bike. Its like a VW Golf GTi. Good for traveling, comuting, confortable, reliable, not to much expensive, and sporty enough. Not a race track bike, but if you race it, it won't be embarasing.
