Nick Saban gives update on Tua Tagovailoa's injury vs. Tennessee | College Football on ESPN

Nick Saban addresses the media after Alabama's Week 8 win vs. Tennessee. Saban says Tua Tagovailoa will probably be out for a week with an ankle injury. Saban says he has confidence in Mac Jones to lead Alabama to a win next week vs. Arkansas.

As an LSU fan I hope that Tua recovers in time to play against LSU. I don't wish pain on anyone, and I want to see LSU and Alabama go all out this year. It will be a good game regardless, and if LSU were to win while Tua couldn't play at his full potential, I'm sure we'd end up getting a rematch further down the line.

You know Kyle Trask was able to move the ball effectively against LSU even though his leg was injured previously against Auburn and this is in Death Valley Definitely Tua can be effective in 3 weeks. And Tua played injured against LSU last year

At least it was his left ankle and not his right which is the leg he steps into when he throws, so I assume he should be 85%-90% healthy for the LSU game
