We're obviously aware of and deeply concerned about the global pandemic, and are choosing carefully what to publish as forms of escapism and entertainment to help ease thoughts of anxiety, and provide an alternative from the news. We are obviously NOT encouraging anyone to travel now or discouraging social distancing.

Have you visited any of these amazing underrated cities?

Agreed on Busan! Absolutely fell in love with it and liked it as much, if not more than Seoul. And surprisingly very few tourists compared to Seoul. I can't wait to go back and continue traveling Asia and add some of these to the list! Thanks for the list!!!

Tainan is a beautiful spot with lots to see. Good choice to add when travelling to Taiwan.

100% behind the Busan vote. I've been there twice and still didn't scratch the surface of it!

Hi I'm Back.. the one guy that replies with these very very long comment about the cities shown in the Video :D
(Short Notice: I will only react in the places that I have been to that is in the video)

-Tainan: oooff I'm sorry I haven't been in this city yet... But I have visited Taiwan :D

-Jakarta: umm what to say, for me it is more likely overwhelming for a tourist.. considering it is a very very huge City... One can see Jakarta with disappointment... slums, traffic, and all of city bustle isn't the one you will enjoy.. Still every city and places has its pros and cons.. But I'm sure if you are really a city guy you will still find a way to immerse yourself with this Tropical Metropolis.. I would say so unlike what the video mentioned Indonesia isn't that one South East Asian Country that is left out/overlooked in tourism, considering more than 13 million tourist visited the country year 2019.. With Yogyakarta and Bali alone Indonesia is still considered a main gameplayer of the tourist hotspots of South East Asia

-Mandalay: Yes this one is really underrated, a city full of colors, temples with busy streets is all of one to define South East Asia alone.. with its unique temples and architecture one can really immerse themselves with the rich culture of this land.. However Mandalay is still a city so expect that everything is not all temples and temples with a peaceful backdrop.. expect a city of bustle and hustle

-Malacca: is also a good one.. sadly thoo many people just use this as a stopover for a more famous place, I can say that the video is right cuz I am one of those people who just stopped by in Malacca for a day... But don't follow me, Malacca is a very unique one with a mix of South East Asian and Colonial Architecture, Malacca have distinguish itself from other cities making it worthy one to visit

-Vientiane: Indeed a really underrated one, Within the Ages the city I mean the country itself had faded to the background.. If I will mention a underrated country in South East Asia Laos will be the one not Indonesia.. Vientiane has everything to be a face of this cultural rich region but many people chose to put it in thee background

-Kanazawa: FIRST of all the intro video for Kanazawa isn't Kanazawa I'm pretty sure its Tokyo (or part of Tokyo Greater Area but definitely not Kanazawa).. sorry haven't been in this city yet.. I also think many people don't visit this one because of accessibility, unlike other tourist cities Kanazawa doesn't have an international airport.. but if you want to visit this types of traditional Japanese cities you call also visit Kyoto although this one is pack with tourist and people...

-Hue: A yes the Traditional South East Asian Beauty.. this is the one that you will se in aesthetic pictures of South East Asia in Pinterest and I'm surprised many people still haven't figured and discovered this picturesque city out yet.. This one is definitely a good one to include in your Instagram travel photos rather than those cliché and highly publicized attractions of South East Asia

-Busan: Ok compared to the other cities found in this video Busan is one of the most famous considering more than 7 million already visited this city in the year 2019.. but I must say so when compared to Seoul, Busan will really be labeled as Underrated but compared to the other cities here Busan is definitely a famous one.. In the other page thoo Busan is a great city with full of life and of course a land of great food that will satisfy your Korean food cravings a really good one to visit in South Korea

-Chiang Mai: is also a great one, a really vibrant city filled with beautiful architecture, delicious cuisine and anything you will want to see in a Thai vacation, it could easily take over the South East Asian Cities spotlight.. the only reason that it is underrated is because Bangkok overshadow it.. Bangkok is a huge star having all of the spotlight leaving others in the back of the spotlight...

Hangzhou: its a shame that the number one is a city I haven't been too.. But i have visited China thoo, considering China is a very large country with so many many many famous cities scattered in its vast land one will have a hard time to choose to visit this city rather than this big names: Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Macau

hello sorry for a really really long comment just sharing my thoughts from being a traveler trying to see all of the world :D
I will be so glad if anyone reads all of this and found it interesting and helpful!

Tho i love Hangzhou, i would choose Suzhou instead

Yangon is not the capitol city of Myanmar. And anyway, no one would want to visit it now that the military has retaken control of the country, which is very sad.
