My weirdest Dutch experience when in Holland was seeing one of the thousands of bicycle riders riding her bike while smoking a cigarette and talking on her phone....did I mention she had a toddler on the back and neither were wearing helmets! My daughter in law attended college there for a year and made up lines to a song while riding:”I will not die today..”. Needless to say, it had over 100 lines!

First, I want to say how much I "like" your videos. They are so informative and fun. When I was a child my most favorite thing to do was to jump rope. I always wanted to jump double Dutch if I could get two friends to throw the rope. What a wonderful memory. I haven't thought of that for many years. Thanks for jogging my old memory! Happy stitching.

Thanks for the entertainment while I stitch every Monday morning! Many years ago, my daughter and her new husband were transferred to Germany (military). My son and I flew out to visit on his spring break from college. We had an overnight layover in Holland. Lucky for us, we knew 3 people who live there (that’s a story for another time). We went to a restaurant for dinner and, of course, we couldn’t read the menu because it was in Dutch. I kept seeing one item over and over in every dish and because I don’t eat fish, I had asked what it was just in case. The waitress didn’t speak English so she had no idea what I was babbling about. I pointed it out in every dish and she tried to explain. Still didn’t understand. She finally went into the kitchen and came back out holding an onion 🧅. Then we had to start all over again with other ingredients. 😂 Have a great week. Hope the mac and cheese was edible.

Love the new charts you featured, girls! You are a bright light in what became a dull life in 2020. Between both of you reliably showing us how cross stitch could lift our moods and my stitch Zoom sessions with my South Florida stitch friends which include the three Sunshine Stitchers, I have been able to stay happy and hopeful. Thank you sweet ladies and hope to see you again at Stitch-con 2021!

Your videos are not only entertaining, but educational, as well! I just watched Stephanie’s tutorial on her railroading method of stitching. Loved it! It was mentioned by Georgia Girl Stitching. Such a great community to be a part of. Prayers for everyone going through difficult times with their health.
