Welcome (back)! Hope the ideas in this series are useful and help you all get better. Once again, use the timestamps in the description/video timeline to see every opening played - not every opening gets featured in every video. And again, if you want to support financially, I do sell a full 1. e4 course and others - link in the description. See you in Parts 3 and beyond. Cheers 🍷

Now I understand why I lose to low rated players, they are all international masters going undercover!!!

11:59 nice idea actually except for the fact that it's checkmate by force. That's hilarious 😂😂

Player made a move ...and levy takes much time yo respond....
Player: so i made a great move making an IM think
Meanwhile levy : there are a thousand and forty five ways to win ...which should i take

Levy: "So you can..."
Me: Hey that's exactly what I was thinking!
Also Levy: "But..." *shows a move that just wins*
Also Me: *slams head on desk*

Who knew in just 3 years. He'd be over 5 million subscribers and going for GM. He hadn't developed his state yet or his catch line, "Get out of here", but he won our hearts. I love all of the forma of Levy. But this one holds a special place in my heart and I come back to this era often. Much love. 💚

Something so simple as a video about only playing e4, yet there are no other teaching videos like this.

It's actually really helpful, since just this series gives you quite a solid opening repetoir against all the 1. e4 responses.

Hey man, I said this before but have to give another shout out to your generosity in sharing your thoughts and strats while playing. It seems like many GM’s/IM’s either hold back info because they want to “save” all their best knowledge for patreons/students (not realizing that by sharing info, as you do, it makes the viewer appreciate the teacher more and we become more interested in taking lessons) or they want to keep up the belief that to become a GM or IM you have to be a prodigy (which doesn’t hurt) and neglect to teach the viewer the importance of studying patterns, learning end game theory, always scanning for tactical motifs, etc.. Thanks again for all the effort you give and I’m stoked you’re getting the recognition you deserve. Cheers from Atlantic Canada.

I love when levy says he did something stupid and its so obscure that he has to explain that in 3 moves time he may lose a pawn - if a GM was his opponent. My blunders in comparison just straight up hang major pieces.

First. I was thinking...it would be cool to get my comment pinned. But in order to do that, I'd have to deliver a scathing insult and mix some stupidity in there too. But when you've got such a concise and clear teacher who clearly knows his stuff and obviously doesn't use an engine...what's there to dislike?? Love the series man. Been watching your content ever since I saw you in this year's IM Not a GM Championships! Road to 100K good luck you'll be there in no time!

Rewatching after gaining some elo, I learn so much from you and you have come so far as a stream and a YouTuber in the past year! Congrats Levy

41:12 I was rooting for him to find that Queen capture so much, it was painful to see him lose material so early in the game

"At 1000, you don't have to know the mainlines, you just have to know how to play chess." That is the value of these videos, Levy. I've watched all your teaching-by-playing videos. Many times. I don't always know the name of what I'm playing, but I am learning to play chess. Thank you, again.

I appreciate the fact that Levy took care to demonstrate every phase of the game, deliberately going into an endgame when it was not really necessary. Thanks for putting the effort to give us the best possible content. Love and respect from India.

Edit: That Peter Leko impression was on point. 😂🔥
